I got this pattern when it came out just right after I saw Anya’s red version of it.. I felt in love and I knew I needed it right away:)) I made an error while ordering, but Kennis from Itch To Stitch was very patient with me) Oh! When I get excited I lose all control, lol!
Then I couldn’t print it, because apparently all print shops in Santiago de Compostela have the same problem with printers, soooo I didn’t know what to do for some time, but then!!! I decided to print it while scaling until the square reaches its necessary size (it was too big when I was printing with no scaling), and YYEAHH it worked out!)))
It took me too long, but can you imagine how much I liked to get back to anyway!!!?
So I got tencel and decided to try out the blouse. Oh, and it is actually called tank, but I call it blouse, just feel this way))
The tencel I got actually stretches a lot while wearing so, I don’t recommend it at all, but I love how it feels and the colour is so good!
The pattern is great! It is fast to stick together, and the instructions are wonderful!!! Really!!! And also I love the construction of this top, everything is enclosed, beautifully! oh, I’m planning to make, it’s evident, right?!!))
So you can make in jersey + woven or just in woven… I went only for woven (just didn’t have appropriate jersey by my hand to combine both, but I’ll try it definitely!). I used french seams on side seams to enclose everything, although the pattern has 1 cm seam allowance, I just ignored it a little bit and used 1,2 cm seam allowance on the side seams to be more comfy sewing french seams)) and that is it! Love it, did I say it??! lol
Oh and the blouse can be with ruffles on the neckline (line I did it) or without them, can have that line in the middle of the front piece, or can be without it…so many options for just a sleeveless blouse!!!
And wanted to mention again, there is a great customer service! I’ve asked a lot of questions, 1st with the registration error I created and then with the printing thing… Kennis always did her best to help me)
