Since I found out Closet Case Files I got obsessed with the patterns. But as I was new to sewing and didn’t know what I should get first, lol. Nettie was on the list, but I wasn’t sure I wanted a bodysuit…but then my brains couldn’t generate that I can make it into a top.

Sewing Nettie was so easy and fun! I was thinking for a short time how open I want my back to be and how open the front, lol! Heather from Closet Case Files really gives a lot of options in each pattern!

As you can see the result came out with medium back (not the low, I wanted to maintain bra option) and scoop neck front. I also opted for short sleeves. I love love love this top. Oh yeah! It is a top, I cropped the bodysuit pattern somewhere on the hips and I also made the waistline higher (as my natural waist is super high I need to modify for it, so tops will not run to top when I’m walking around, lol)

Why I just didn’t go for another pattern if I knew I wouldn’t make it into the bodysuit?.. Simple! I love the quality of Closet Case Files’s patterns, I love the endless neckline, sleeves and length variations I can have with this pattern.. ohh and the fit is marvelous!

And yes! As you probably guessed already I do recommend this pattern hugely!!!))
