When I received this fabric Alejandro literally felt in love with it as much as man can love fabric whos primerly job is science, lol)) don’t want to descriminate, but he was making a lot of jokes about my fabric addiction before I received this fabric 😉

So these shorts in hashtag were completely his idea, and I just had enough fabric left from my dungarees for it!)

As I told in this and this posts that it was really very difficult to match the oattern, But sewing two things from this fabric before this shorts really gave me experience, lol

I used Jutland Pants pattern, which I’ve made before in its original pants version. This time I made modifications) Not loong time ago I’ve learn full butt adjustments, was very inspired by Anya, so I went ahead and applied all that to the Jutland Pants pattern. And he loves it!!! So much! I can say just looking at his happy face that this is his first really super comfortable pair of shorts! And at the same time I can’t believe that I’ve made it)))a! so excited and horrified at the same time!

Having sewn more patterns since I first started I can say that this pattern has very good instructions and many beautiful details. The error of piece 17 was corrected in PDF version of the pattern, but I believe it still exists in printed version. So if you are buying printed, you’ll need to adjust that piece accordingly with your the width of the pants’ leg.

Oh And I used the fancy zipper he bought for me before (yes! I went back and bought like 5 of them, lol)
