If I think in chronological directiont, then this is my second t-shirt for him. My first was one by colette patterns (which I didn’t like at all) and the third is the same Burda shirt, but in tencel fabric. Omg and I’m still looking for the good shirt pattern I can use for him…Ideas? Do you have a trusty pattern with all shirt details?

I was thinking that the sew-along they made on BurdaStyle will help, but noo, it only gave me more and more doubts about this pattern, its quality and details.

After reading and checking all the instructions and all the posts of sew-along I came to conclusion that I was going to follow the instructions of Archer Shirt, if you don’t have this pattern you can check the sew-along for it (take into consideration that there is a small error there when it come to the collar piece, you can watch about it in my review).

So, I interfaced all what I interfaced sewing my Archer (1 and 2), and added some extra details which were missing in Burda pattern.

As a conclusion I can say next – don’t buy it. Or buy it if you know everything of sewing shirts already 😉 but in that case you probably don’t need it, lol))

Apart from bad pattern experience I totally enjoyed sewing with this fabric)) Recommend it! It presses beautifully))

Oh, it might be too thin for snaps)) lol Although I interfaced the placket, I told my hubby to be careful with it. Alejandro said that the fabric is much stronger than I think, so he is fine!)) Alright! If he is I am too, but I’m not putting metal snaps to thin cotton any more 😀 lol
